Likes don't pay
Your most-liked post often brings zero customers. Social stats measure applause, not revenue.
upTake traces every visit and payment back to the post, launch or release that caused it, then tells you your next move each week.
Why upTake
You ship fast and post everywhere. Then you have no idea which of it brought the people who pay. How it works →
Your most-liked post often brings zero customers. Social stats measure applause, not revenue.
Five dashboards, three exports, one spreadsheet. Nobody shipping on weekends does that every week.
You shipped twelve features last month and posted about two. The rest never brought a single visit.
Product
Attribution, weekly coaching and release announcements, in one place.
Each week: what worked, what didn't, and your next moves. Written from your real numbers.
See a report →Every tracked link, post and release is tied to the visits, signups and payments it caused.
Try for freeOne script, Stripe and GitHub. No config, no tag manager, no cookies.
See integrations →Six posts from one maker. Sort them by likes, then by the revenue upTake traced to each one.
I built a PDF tool in a weekend. Here's what I learned about pricing it at $9 vs $19. A thread on what actually moved conversions.
5 lessons from launching my first SaaS. Swipe for the one nobody tells you about.
Shipped batch export to CSV. Select 50 invoices, one click, done.
Small thing: you can now drag a PDF straight onto the page. 2 users asked, it took an hour.
From 0 to 40 paying users in 6 weeks, numbers inside.
I made a tiny tool to sign PDFs without uploading them anywhere. Would love blunt feedback.
Example posts. upTake does this for every post you track.
How it works
Paste one script, connect Stripe and GitHub. Five minutes.
Each visit, signup and payment is tied to the post, link or release behind it.
Your next moves each week. Then we measure what happened.
GitHub
When you ship a release or merge a PR, upTake drafts a post for each channel, with your own link tagged for that channel. Your next report tells you whether anyone came.
Integrations
Stripe and GitHub connect directly. Everywhere else, a tag on your own link (?ut=reddit) or a QR code does the measuring. Faded ones are coming soon.
What we see, and what we don'tNo. upTake only reads release notes and pull request titles, on the repositories you pick. Your code is never read or stored.
Yes. Without Stripe, upTake tracks signups or your waitlist instead.
They tell you where visitors came from. upTake tells you which of your posts, launches and releases caused it, and what to do next.
Stripe and GitHub connect directly. Reddit, X, LinkedIn, Indie Hackers, newsletters and anything else are measured by adding a tag to your own link, like yourapp.com/?ut=reddit, plus QR codes and your action log. More native integrations are on the way.
The script sets no cookie and upTake never stores IP addresses. The data is hosted in the European Union. An option that remembers returning visitors for 90 days exists; it is off unless you turn it on.
Log them in one click. upTake estimates their effect from the traffic their channel sent in the following 72 hours.
Paste your URL. upTake reads your site and sets up your project in about four minutes.
